This project evaluated the current diagnostic capacity for FASD in child development services in Western Australia. Researchers measured referral patterns to child development services and current clinical practice, knowledge and attitudes of all staff within those services regarding alcohol, smoking and other drug consumption. The project also explored their perceptions of the need and ability to ask about alcohol and drug use.
