Nature of clinic
FASD assessment clinic, THE NSW FASD Assessment Service provides a state-wide assessment service for children with confirmed prenatal alcohol exposure at the Children's Hospital at Westmead in Sydney within the Department of Adolescent Medicine. Some consultations are conducted via telehealth. We have access to a multidisciplinary team on Mondays and limited health professional availability on Tuesdays.

General Practitioners, Paediatricians, Other medical specialists, Psychologists, Allied health professionals, Families, Child protection services, Education Departments, Justice Departments, Note: Medical referral is also required if primary referrer is not a doctor. The medical referral should include information about confirmed prenatal alcohol exposure, medical problems and neurodevelopmental function.
