The Facilitator Manual which includes the Clinical Training Package, was prepared by a team of health professionals and parents/carers with significant expertise, and clinical and lived experience of FASD.

It is intended to be used for the purpose of training health professionals to undertake assessments and formulate a diagnosis of FASD using the Australian Guide to the diagnosis of FASD.

It is designed to support facilitators and presenters to prepare, coordinate, deliver and evaluate the FASD Clinical Workshop.

The Clinical Workshop Training Package contains:

  • resources
  • presentation slides
  • activities required to conduct the workshop

To access the Facilitator Manual which includes the Clinical Workshop Training Package, please read the Licence Agreement and complete the form on page 2.

Once completed, you will be provided with the Facilitator Manual.

*Please note, this training aligns to the Australian Guide to Diagnosis of FASD released in 2016 and updated in 2020. Updated workshop resources which align to the Australian Guidelines for the Assessment and Diagnosis of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, released in 2025, will be available soon.
