Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders and Training Program for Placement Support Workers in Tasmania: A Pilot Project
This project recognises the need to acknowledge and support those living with FASD and the overrepresentation of these individuals in out of home care. NOFASD Australia is one of the main national organisations representing and assisting individuals and families affected by FASD.
NOFASD Australia has determined the use of training workshops to be beneficial, with the vast majority of participants reporting increased knowledge, skills and confidence post workshops.
