The Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency-Short Form is reliable in children living in remote Australian Aboriginal communities

This study evaluated whether a standard measure of motor skills used in FASD diagnosis was applicable to an Aboriginal population of children with prenatal alcohol exposure. Thirty Aboriginal children were assessed in the Fitzroy Valley (Western Australia) and it was found the standard measure of motor skills had acceptable reliability for use in remote Aboriginal communities.
