Midwives' knowledge, attitudes and practice about alcohol exposure and the risk of fetal alcohol spectrum disorder

This study investigates midwives' knowledge, attitudes and practice in relation to alcohol consumption during pregnancy and FASD. Nearly all midwives (93.2%) surveyed in Western Australia reguarly asked women about their alcohol consumption while two-thirds informed women about the effects of alcohol during pregnancy.
