Prevalence of fetal alcohol syndrome in a population-based sample of children living in remote Australia: The Lililwan Project

This study aimed to determine how common fetal alcohol syndrome and partial fetal alcohol syndrome was in the Fitzroy Valley in Western Australia. It was reported that there was a prevalence of 120 per 1000 which is the highest prevalence found in Australia and is similar to other high-risk populations internationally.
